Charm Bead: just over 3/8” or 1 cm

These beads are created by me in my studio, first with porcelain clay, which is formed and dried. After drying any hard edges are cleaned with a sponge and dental tool. They are first fired in the kiln to around 1900 degrees F. Then they are dipped in glaze, dried, and fired again, this time to ~2300 F.

The beads are glazed on the front and back.
